Wines made from muscadine grapes can have up to 100x more resveratrol than wines made from French grape varieties like Pinoit Noir.
And muscadines have almost 10x the antioxidant power of oranges. (The ORAC of muscadines is 6,800 compared to 750 for oranges).
We've been making muscadine health supplements for years. We take table-quality muscadines and use just the skin and the seeds to make our muscadine powder. The skin contains polyphenols (like resveratrol, ellegic acid and quercetin) and the seeds contain antioxidants (like OPC oligomeric proanthocyanidins and catechins).
We don't use the sugary flesh of the fruit in our capsules. But we do use muscadine juice in our soaps because the muscadine fructose can help keep skin moisturized.

Our capsules contain only muscadine skin powder, muscadine seed powder and BioPerine pure pepper extract. The pepper extract has been shown to increase the bioavailability of resveratrol up to 229%, and the blood content up to 1544%.
