Fight microbes and grime with coconut oil.

Coconut oil soap contains lauric acid, capric acid, and caprylic acid. These anti-microbial molecules can disrupt the bacteria which lead to inflamed skin and even acne.

You might have read that coconut oil can block the pores in your skin. But rest assured that only refers to when people put the solid 'cooking' oil on their skin.

In our soap we use only pure 'fractionated' organic coconut oil which is made for cosmetic purposes. Fractionated means that the long-chain fatty acids are removed by steam distillation ... leaving a very light oil that is easily absorbed into the skin. Pure coconut oil has also been used to treat eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

The bottom line is that coconut oil is a key part of our 'three oil’ soap blend. Shea butter strengthens the skin; virgin olive oil keeps skin moist; and finally coconut oil fights bacteria and leaves skin super clean.
